This very popular blender is currently the #2 selling blender on Amazon. So let’s see why this blender is so popular and why so many are bought and what these customers think about this model.
First, Hamilton Beach is a name most people trust. Second, this is a very inexpensive blender. If I had to give a one sentence review, I would say don’t expect this inexpensive model (presently under $25) to do everything the high end blenders will do, but it is not $100+ or much more.
Several said this would do until they could get the blender of their dreams and they would mention several different ones. You can see my reviews of many of these at the bottom of this page. So I don’t want to try to over sell you on this. But as many customers said in their reviews, if you are looking for a basic blender to do smoothies and the like, this will do the job for you.
One reviewer said he was disappointed that it would not blend kale to his desired consistency. But great for fruit, ice, and powders. But someone else said if you leave it on long enough it blended spinach with some fruit and liquid. Another said it would break down kale easily. It is always interesting to me when you read reviews that you get completely opposite view points about the same thing. Many times there are so many variables involved. In this case, how much liquid did each reviewer use. Fruits and vegetables break down easier with liquid.
Here are the features customers liked the most. It has a glass container which looks better and seems to clean up better than the plastic ones which seem to get cloudy over time. It has plenty of power for most jobs with its 700 watts of power. I might suggest you compare the power of other inexpensive models you might be considering, because many have much less power.
Customers also loved at how easy it was to take apart and clean. Several complained about the loud noise that this makes when it is in use. I don’t think I have heard a quiet blender, but this one may be noisier than some others. But even our Vita-Mix was noisy when chopping ice for a smoothie.
Some said it was great for margaritas and other drinks. People overall said it chopped ice well, but some said it was not as good for chopping vegetables like carrots. I could go and on as there are 43 pages of reviews. But I have tried to give you a fair representation of what reviewers had to say.
In conclusion, if you are looking for an inexpensive bender and realize this is not going to do the same things a blenders costing much more than this Hamilton Beach blender. For more information, please click on this link.
